FLOTATION
Wastewater with undissolved or insoluble components is discharged into a flotation tank.
Air is supplied to the wastewater with the help of lances or quick stirrer. The dispersed particles attach themselves to the air bubbles and are taken to the surface. The emerging surface foam is discharged using a cleanser.
Most different additives are used for the stabilisation of the surface foam and for a better linkage of air bubbles to the undissolved components.
